Neanderthal as one of the first powerviolence bands is often overlooked when lumped in with MITB, Crossed Out, Infest and the like. However in 1990 Matt Domino and Eric Wood, prior to forming Infest and Man Is The Bastard created Fighting Music. 7 songs and roughly ten minutes of the muddy, shitty extreme balance of hardcore and sludge later to be known as powerviolence. Classic, influential powerviolence that is not to be overlooked.
